Grew up skiing here and came back for the second time as an adult. It's such a nice hill, big enough to make for a fun full day of skiing with a non-pretentious community feeling. The parking lot is right off the runs and the new lodge is really nice. The food is affordable, the lift lines are super short, and the skiing is fast. The hill feels just a little taller than snoqualmie from base to peak but the snow is sooo much better when it is there. There in lies the one warning...sometimes they are challenged to get enough snow and you might need rock skis. Not this year. A really great time for all.

      The Loup from the lodge.

This is an awesome small town ski hill! There is one quad chair and NO lift lines to speak of! The runs were steeper than we thought they'd be and the scenery was gorgeous. The snow is dry and powdery here--none of the wet stuff that we see on the west side of the state. I was thoroughly impressed, and I've skied Whistler/Blackcomb, Sun Peaks, Baker, Bachelor, Crystal, Stevens, Schweitzer...the list goes on. This was one of my favorites!

Small lodge, but that was fine. Food was good but it took a while due to the high volume. Lift tickets were $48 for holiday prices, but normally $42. Great deal. We will be back!

First thing in the morning--had the mountain to ourselves! First tracks!

This place is awesome I love the small town vibe and the friendly people I would highly suggest giving this place a visit and another and another. Definitely NOT a beef bucket which is a good thing

Awesome family ski day. We had beginners to advanced skiers and everyone of us had a fantastic day of skiing. Arrived early for two of the kids to take snowboard lessons and it was a little icy, but as the sun came out and warned the place up, the skiing was perfect. I'll agree that the runs are long and steeper than we expected, but the staff was helpful to us in choosing the runs to start on to get acquainted with the slopes. Small and friendly, the kids (two families) just went from rope tow to the t-bar to the quad chairs and around again; it was easy to keep an eye on the easy runs and I never worried about the kids getting lost or in trouble on any of the runs because the ski patrol was always around. For western Washington skiers, this place is dryer and warmer; by lunch, we were shedding layers. The lodge/grill had tasty food and a real wood fireplace with delicious homemade biscuits for breakfast, locally made cookies and banana bread and tasty burgers and dogs for lunch. The staff was very nice and helpful. And my favorite part? The low-key, smooth '70's vibe of this place. Not fancy, but well-kept and tons of fun!
