The Okanogan Chamber of Commerce hosts a number of events in and around Okanogan, WA to promote local business and improve opportunities for business and community building. Membership in the Okanogan Chamber allows businesses to participate in these community events in a meaningful way, network with other business owners and community members, and receive listings in our various advertising campaigns and publications circulated both locally and across the State. The Okanogan Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer organization and we heavily depend on community support to organize and put on our annual events. Attending meetings is a great way to get involved in downtown Okanogan, meet the movers and shakers in our town, and give your input. We are always interested in fresh ideas as we understand that a successful organization needs to be constantly growing and changing. In addition to checking our website, you can find out what we’re up to by checking our meeting minutes and agendas, which are posted on our “Archive” page each month for both our board meetings and member meetings.
Each year we ask for nominations for a Citizen and a Business of the Year who deserve recognition. This can be a new business that’s brought new life to main street, or someone who has devoted years to making downtown better. We don’t always know everything that goes on here, so please cast your vote!
